Gliding avatars freeze the game when braking in the air

Affects: avatars with glider wings and players riding a gliding animal.

Steps to reproduce Play an avatar with glider wings. Take off and fly. Press Space and release it, or come to a stop in the air, then try to turn.

What happens: the scene stops updating and the avatar hangs in place. Chat and menus may keep working for a while; the game then stops responding and has to be killed.

What should happen: the avatar flaps to slow down while braking, then resumes gliding.
